To be called a child of God is not only a comfort, but also an identity, a promise, and a position secured through Christ. Scripture reminds us that our place in Him is not fragile, temporary, or dependent on how well we perform. It rests on what Jesus has already finished.

There are moments in Scripture when Jesus does something so unexpected that it invites us to pause and look closer. John 9 is one of those moments.

There is something tender yet profound about the question Jesus asks the man at the pool of Bethesda. He did not begin with a command. He began with a question: Do you want to be healed?

“Arise and shine, for your Light has come.”  Those words from Isaiah 60:1 came to me in a way I will never forget. Still and small, soft and gentle, yet unmistakably clear.

As mothers, our children are gifts entrusted to us by God. We are chosen to love, nurture, and guide them into the men and women He created them to be—warriors for Christ who live for His glory and purpose. Motherhood is more than a blessing; it is calling, an honor, a privilege, and a sacred responsibility.

Recently, I was asked whether I had enough faith to move a mountain. My response was that I absolutely do. Then I was asked if I had ever actually moved one. 

As women, we weren’t created just to be a companion for man. We were chosen, honored and blessed to compliment man and God’s marvelous creation.
